"Conflict in Myanmar" book launch

Please note: the event will be held in the Sir Roland Wilson Building (opposite the Hedley Bull Centre).

Edited by Nick Cheesman and Nicholas Farrelly, Conflict in Myanmar: War, Politics, Religion is the publication from the 2015 Myanmar Update conference held at the Australian National University. Commencing with a keynote address by the then-Speaker of the Upper House of the Myanmar legislature, U Khin Aung Myint, it brought together academics, researchers, policymakers and politicians from Myanmar and abroad for two days.

Nicholas Farrelly, Director of the ANU Myanmar Research Centre will give a presentation, addressing the book’s themes: war, politics and religion in Myanmar’s current political environment.

Michael Wesley, Dean of the College of Asia and the Pacific, will then launch the book.

We hope you can join us for drinks and canapes following the launch!

Please RSVP to Olivia Cable (olivia.cable@anu.edu.au).
