Doing Research - Myanmar

Doing Research in Myanmar

The Global Development Network has released a new report, 'Doing Research – Myanmar'.

The report offers a holistic understanding of how the research landscape works in Myanmar, to ensure that actions and reforms are informed by contextualised knowledge of the local environment.

The project was run in Myanmar by the Centre for Economic and Social Development (CESD), with our own director, Dr Charlotte Galloway as the team's mentor. The project is supported through the International Development Research Centre’s Knowledge for Democracy Myanmar Initiative.

A podcast launching the report is available through Asia Research News, with discussants Charlotte Galloway and Katri Pohjolainen (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency), and a conversation with Zaw Oo, Director CESD.
