Roxanne Missingham FALIA, PFHEA, OAM
Roxanne is responsible for setting the strategic vision for the University’s scholarly information resources and services which includes the libraries – collections and services, digital collections (particularly the Open Access repository), ANU Press and the Noel Butlin Archive. Her career includes Commonwealth Parliamentary Librarian (2005-2012), Assistant Director General Resource Sharing Services (National Library), Director Reader Service (National Library) and Divisional Librarian CSIRO Wildlife & Ecology.
She is a passionate advocate for library collaboration to deliver access for Australians to quality to resources. Her work on open access and consortia has increased access for Australian to world-class research outputs and digitised collection. She is currently a copyright lead for the Council of Australian University Librarians, chairs the Universities Australia Working Group on Copyright and is a member of many national and international digital research library committees.
She has served on a number of boards and advisory committees including as President and board member of the Australian Library and Information Association. She is a Fellow of the Australian Library and Information Association and Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
She has produced over 200 book chapters, journal articles, conference papers and seminar presentations.
